FAQs

Who are the meals for?

For those of any age who wish to eat with others in a friendly setting. It is for any family/individual but especially those living alone, those families coping with limited incomes and those whose cooking ability is limited. Potentially everyone!

When will the meals be available?

Thursdays lunch 12 – 1.30pm; evenings 5 – 6.30pm

How much will the meal cost?

The meal will be ‘free’ to encourage any family, including children, to take part. You are encouraged to donate £4 adult [£2 under 16] to cover costs. Those who cannot do this are encouraged to donate what they can afford. If you cannot afford anything that is OK.

How will the payment system work ?

On the table there are plain envelopes. During the meal you are asked to put inside the envelope what you can afford to donate and seal the envelope which you can place in a donation box. A card reader is also available for those who prefer to use it.

Will meals need to be booked in advance?

Yes. Meals will have to be booked in advance so we can avoid food waste.
